The free Ableton Live 12 Theme Set No. 3 contains 12 themes. Two are brand new, the others are previously released themes that I have remixed. As we're entering the darker months of the year, they're all rather neutral dark greys with various pops of colours.

This set includes the following themes: Bronze (new), Cielo, Dash, Disco, Elegance, Heliotrope, Morea, Ochre (new), Onyx, Red Greys, Rosequartz and Viridian.

Please note: These themes won't work in Live 11 or below.

 

Free Ableton Live 12 Theme Set No. 1 contains 12 themes, one is brand new, the others are previously released themes that I have remixed. They're a mix of very dark, medium, medium-light and very light themes, so hopefully you'll find something to suit your taste. This set includes the following themes: Amber, Argent, Campanula, Dark Bloom, Electric Blue, Fawn (new), Frosti, Laurel, Prussian, Rhino, Smaragd and Sun Glow.

Please note: These themes won't work in Live 11 or below.

 

All of the themes I've created so far for Ableton Live 11 and up. 55 free themes (formerly known as skins), partly recreations of skins I've made, but also new ones. A mix of greys with dashes of colours all the way to very colourful and daring themes. From light ones to very dark ones. A huge variety of themes for any taste. Light, medium, dark, grey based, retro style or very colourful. Watch the video to see them all live in action.

Every theme I've ever made for Ableton Live 10. 65 free themes (formerly called skins), some of which are re-creations of my own skins, some of which are re-creations of Ableton Live 1 through 5 skins, and some of which were newly created. A range of colours, from muted greys with pops of colour to vibrant, daring themes. From light to extremely dark. A vast array of themes to suit every preference. Please note: Live 9 and lower won't support these themes. In Live 11 and up, there may be some elements (transport bar, scale awareness) not fitting the theme.

 In case, you don’t know how to install them, here are the instructions for both Windows and Mac:

Windows

The zip-file with the skins should be in the designated downloads folder of your internet browser. If you’re unsure where that is, check the preferences of your chosen browser for the location.
First you need to unzip the folder. For this, right-click the folder in the Windows Explorer, click ‘Extract All’, and then follow the instructions.
Open the unzipped folder, select all with the command Ctrl + A, then copy them with Ctrl + C.
  • With Live up to version 9, navigate to C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live x Version\Resources\Skins (Windows 7 and up)* or C:\Program Files\Ableton\Live\Resources\Skins (older Windows) and paste the skins in with Ctrl + V.
  • From Live 10+, skins are now called themes. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live x Version\Resources\Themes (Windows 7 and up)* or C:\Program Files\Ableton\Live\Resources\Themes (older Windows) and paste the skins in with Ctrl + V.

Once you open Live, go to the Preferences>Look/Feel with Ctrl + , and choose your preferred skin under, you probably already guessed it, Skins (up to Live 9) or Themes (from Live 10+). Done.

* depends on the respective Live version you have, e.g. Live 9 Suite.

MacOS

The Skins zip-file will most likely be in the Downloads folder.
Unzip the folder by double-clicking it.
Open the unzipped folder, select all with the command Cmd + A, then copy them with Cmd + C.
  • Up to Live 9, navigate to Ableton Live in your Applications folder, right-click (or ctrl-click) it and select ‘Show Package Contents’, then go to Contents/App-Resources/Skins and paste them in with Cmd + V.
  • From Live 10+, navigate to Ableton Live in your Applications folder, right-click (or ctrl-click) it and select ‘Show Package Contents’, then go to Contents/App-Resources/Themes and paste them in with Cmd + V.

Once you open Live, go to the Preferences>Look/Feel with Cmd + , and choose your preferred skin under Skins (up to Live 9), or Themes (from Live 10+).
