Vibrations contains a kaleidoscopic collection of loops – a mix and match kit perfect for kickstarting ideas or adding extra flavor to productions, whether you’re making downtempo electronica, lo-fi hip hop, indie rock, or club tracks.
The ModeAudio team is known for vibrant synth sounds, and plenty have found their way into this Pack, from classic 80s leads and squelchy basslines to glitchy granular slices and pointillistic arpeggios. It’s not all about the synths, though – have fun digging through assorted guitar loops, piano parts, and textures from nature.
Feel the beat
Beatmakers keeping an ear out for idiosyncratic hits, take note. With 10 Drum Racks and over 200 one shot samples, build beats from classic drum machines and acoustic kits, as well as less-conventional sources like toy percussion and guitar pedals. The loops section also provides plenty of drum grooves and auxiliary percussion recordings to chop and drop into your tunes.
Play, shape and tweak
Vibrations also features a selection of Wavetable, Analog and Operator-based Instrument Racks – growling bass, bouncing mallets, humming leads and more, all designed especially for this Pack. Finally, give your sounds extra flare with seven Effects Racks for mix, modulation and space.

Stray Cats Collection

We’ve teamed up with Max for Cats and Sonic Bloom to give you a free collection of devices to keep you company at home. From synths and sequencers to effects for space and color.
Instruments:
MSE
The MSE synthesizer system is three components in one – the MSE synth module, the Quad, and the SEQ8. The MSE synth module is small, but mighty; it can be played either mono or polyphonically, creating anything from fat bass sounds to lush poly pads. The Quad is four MSE synths stacked together; each MIDI note will play one of the four MSE modules sequentially, like an Oberheim Four Voice. The SEQ8 is an analog-style step sequencer with eight steps, swing, integrated MIDI scaling and map function that can be used to sequence any software or external hardware synth.
MIDI Effects:
ConChord
Create intricate rhythmic and melodic patterns with the ConChord pulse-based chord step sequencer. Alongside the classic time, swing and play direction parameters, each step can have a variable pulse count, allowing for rests, pauses and repetitions. Each step can also generate a chord, adding an extra level of musicality to this device.
Audio Effects:
Stochastic Delay
This is not your average delay – create unpredictable rhythmic effects by injecting all kinds of audio material with semi-random stochastic patterns. Set the two mathematically-driven delay engines using the Resolution and Delay units, or throw the dice for a random outcome.
Verbotron
Give your work some space with Verbotron – a stereo processing reverb effect. It uses the original Gigaverb algorithm created by Juhana Sadeharju.
Color
Add grit and color to your tracks with Color – a sound texture device. Color is great for infusing individual instrumental parts or full mixes with a variety of vinyl noises, hiss, drive, wobble, and analog warmth. The device is a useful addition to your musical toolkit, whether you want to add a pinch of nostalgic tape fluctuation or filter a modern club track.
Skram Delay
Get glitchy with Skram Delay – a dual channel delay effect with modulated delay times, which generates random lines of delay. Create anything from subtle changes such as slap-back or cardboard echoes to complete sonic chaos.
Singularities
by Ableton
Free for Live 10 users, Singularities makes use of single samples and finely tuned, expressive parameters to capture the sound and feel of classic synths and samplers. Included are 40 Instrument Racks, plus MIDI clips and drum kits – all the parts you need for a complete track.
The Pack is a project of Ableton’s lead sound designer, Huston Singletary, the brain behind a lot of the tweakable instruments, clips and other sounds in Live 10. He put the same attention to detail into making Singularities something that’s both true to a musical aesthetic and easily malleable.
Sampling the classic way
You’ll find the usual synth suspects in the gear list for this Pack, those that defined that brilliant 80s sound – Juno 106, Minimoog, Oberheim OB-X and Korg Polysix among them.
There are 40 Simpler-based Instrument Racks built from the above, with bass, pads, leads and keys, each with eight Macros that give diverse options for sound-shaping.
But the approach to capturing these classics went beyond the norm. All 40 Simpler/Sampler instruments were made using a single sample – the same approach as classic samplers, which offered a signature sound based on single-sample playback. The effect is a somewhat rawer and more digital sound that cuts through the mix quite nicely.
Playable and authentic
Aside from the audible impact, the presets are very lightweight in terms of load time and CPU usage. Yet they still feel very satisfying and realistic to play. It’s thanks to the care and expertise that’s gone into recreating the playability of all those vintage synths and samplers – fine-tuning parameters like velocity, keytracking and filter envelopes to respond in a similar way to classic hardware.
Built on experience
Huston has 25 years of experience as sound designer and musician with the industry’s leading synth manufacturers – so a deep understanding of what makes synths tick has gone into the development. It’s subtle and often-overlooked interactions with filters, envelopes and other fundamental effects that so often define sonic characteristics – Huston has worked with just about every synth you can name, and knows how to recreate their essence in the software domain.

64 Pad Lab

Five extensive Drum Racks tailored for use with Push’s 64 Pad mode, produced and compiled by finger drummer par excellence Mad Zach.
This Pack fully exploits the newly added ability to map all 64 Ableton Push pads to the cells of a Drum Rack. Each of the Pack’s five Drum Racks can be used to create complete tracks entirely on its own or as one element of a broader project.
For this Pack, Mad Zach drew on an array of analogue drum machines, synths and outboard processors, and the result is an impressively diverse library of hits, melodic sounds and FX perfectly suited to all electronic styles, from hip-hop and drum ‘n bass to EDM and bass music. Alongside the core drums and percussion, you'll find basses, leads, atmospheres, vocal blips, risers, backspins, breakdowns and more.
Within each Drum Rack, Simpler's free-running LFOs have been employed to provide hit-to-hit variation, while dedicated busses enable multiple sidechain key signals to be applied to any Compressor on any sound, helping to deliver a tight, cohesive mix. Auxiliary reverb and delay chains are also on hand, for dialling in polish and sheen.
With live playability at the top of the agenda, the various sound types are mapped consistently from Drum Rack to Drum Rack, encouraging the development of muscle memory and making it easy to switch between them without the need to adapt your playing style. Similar sounds are grouped, too, so that accidentally (or deliberately) hitting a pad adjacent or close to the one you were aiming at will usually trigger something from the same sonic family.
Also included with 64 Pad Lab is a short series of Lessons on the art of finger drumming by Mad Zach himself.

Break Selection For Live 9

Break Selection is a collection of Vintage Drum Breaks produced by Sample Magic. It contains drum kit and hi-hat loops recorded in the very best high-end studios with rare mics, pre-amps and vintage outboard equipment. The grooves have been meticulously laid down by some of the industry's top players for an authentic feel and vibe across the board. Modern and retro combinations of equipment, mic placements and mixing techniques have been utilized to re-create the very best drum sounds from the decades. This pack is free; you must own Live 9 to use it.
The sounds in Break Selection were hand-picked from Sample Magic's Vintage Breaks and Live Hi Hats collections. If you haven't already downloaded it, also check out Beat Selection for Live 9. This pack is also free, and available for all Live 9 users.
Recording Hybrid Kit

Recording Hybrid Kit is a free Pack consisting of a multi-sampled, multi-velocity Yamaha drumset. Made up of elements of several different drumsets, Hybrid is a great sounding, all-purpose kit from Drumdrops – the makers of A Fistful of Drumkits.
The drums that comprise Recording Hybrid Kit were specially selected from several different Yamaha drumsets in order to provide a well-balanced and versatile Drum Racks. The individual drum voices were sampled at multiple velocities and are available in up to 16 steps for each articulation. Recording Hybrid Kit works well at various tuning pitches, and its big size and its classic Ludwig 402 snare sound makes it especially suitable for rock and pop.

Beginning
with his now-classic “Warm Leatherette/T.V.O.D.” single (as The
Normal), Daniel Miller and the Mute label have been at the cutting-edge
of electronic music for almost 35 years. Singular artists such as DAF,
Fad Gadget, Depeche Mode, and Erasure began their careers at Mute and
pioneers such as Can and Cabaret Voltaire enjoy their canonical status
in no small part thanks to Daniel Miller’s expert curatorship of their
archives.

touch.
DM ARP 2600 Drums includes Macro controls to quickly and
intuitively alter the overall sound of each kit as well as individual
characteristics of the kick and snare sounds. Further customization of
individual sounds as well as of effects and presets can be accessed via
