FL STUDIO | PRESETS

Free FL Studio presets are widely available across the internet, ranging from vocal chains that use stock plugins to massive synth and instrument expansions. Because "presets" can mean a few different things in FL Studio, the best free resources are broken down below by category.

Free Vocal Presets & Mixer Chains

If you want your vocals to sound polished, compressed, and radio-ready, these kits use stock FL Studio plugins (like Fruity Parametric EQ 2 and Fruity Limiter) so you don't have to buy expensive third-party software.

Free Stock Synth & Generator Presets

If you are looking for new sounds, synths, and instruments inside FL Studio's native plugins, check out these communities:
  • Image-Line Forum (Official): The absolute best place for free, safe presets. If you own a licensed version of FL Studio, you can access user-shared patch threads for native synths like Sytrus, FLEX, GMS, and Harmor.
  • W.A. Production Freebies: Regularly releases free mini-packs containing synth presets (for native and popular third-party synths), MIDI loops, and melody starters.

Install and Load Presets in FL Studio:

For Mixer / Vocal Presets (.fst files):

  1. Download and extract the preset folder.
  2. Open FL Studio and open the Mixer (F9).
  3. Right-click the specific Mixer Track where you want the effects.
  4. Hover over File ➡️ click Load mixer track state...
  5. Navigate to your downloaded .fst file and open it.

For Synth / Channel Presets:

  1. Open the plugin window (e.g., Sytrus or GMS).
  2. Click the Plugin Options arrow in the top-left corner of the wrapper.
  3. Select Load preset... and choose your file.
To help point you toward the exact download you need, what specific type of presets are you looking for right now? (e.g., vocal mixing chains, Sytrus/FLEX synth sounds, or Gross Beat presets?)
